Short Biography:

Raúl Quijada received a degree in telecommunication engineering and the Master of Science in Telecommunication Engineering & Management from the School of Telecommunications and Aerospace Engineering from the Technical University of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain, in 2011. Nowadays he is working on the image processing department from the Technical University of Catalonia in topics related with pattern recognition in the reverse engineering field with the collaboration of the IMB-CNM (Instituto de Microelectrónica de Barcelona del Centro Nacional de Microelectrónica-CSIC).

His master thesis entitled as "Joint Radar and Communication Application for Traffic Safety System" was written in  Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. This thesis deals with the implementation of a radar system using the international standard IEEE 802.11p in order to reduce accidents aiding the driver with the road status or implementing an automatic brake system fed by the raday system output.
